E+L's Pattern Control System will measure every sheet-repeat and will inspect to an accuracy of up to +/- 0.1 mm (+/- 0,004 in.), depending on job- relevant needs and settings. Job-specific areas of interest, thresholds of inspection accuracies and tolerances can be set or downloaded from an order database. Incorrect sheets generate a signal output for warning devices (lights or horn) and for reject mechanisms. E+L Pattern Control can be integrated in RDCs and FFGs of all brands up to 18,000 sheets/h. In addition, the signal output of the E+L inspection system can be used to control the register of every single print unit.
