Corpak Opens New Plant in Atlanta

GMI Group, Plymouth, Ind., is expanding the group’s Corpak Division with the addition of a fourth manufacturing plant in Atlanta. The new plant was specifically selected to serve the southeastern section of the country, including Georgia, Virginia, Tennessee, North Caroline, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
The new Atlanta plant has 118,000 sq ft of manufacturing space is equipped to provide a variety of corrugated packaging. Full production will begin in July and plans call for a total of 35 new employees by September.

In addition to giving us a coast-to-coast manufacturing presence in the U.S., this new facility provides us with the ability to continue the development and expansion of our product line with cutting edge, reliable manufacturing to meet the needs of a constantly evolving industry.
The Atlanta plant is part of GMI’s ongoing growth efforts. This is the second expansion of the Group’s Corpak division in the last five years.
