Frankston Packaging Buys Day Packaging

Independent folding carton converter Frankston Packaging Co. and minority owned and operated MIR Packaging, Frankston, Texas, purchased carton maker Day Packaging Co., Sherman, Texas. Terms weren’t disclosed. Frankston/MIR combined Day’s plant with its current plant in Frankston.

Prior to the acquisition, Frankston/MIR installed an 18,000 sheets per hour, six-color KBA 106 press, which allowed it to service this additional customer base with no interruptions.
