GP Cuts 12 Jobs at Iowa Box Plant
March 25, 2009 By: Packaging online staff Box BizGeorgia-Pacific (GP), Atlanta, has indefinitely laid off approximately 12 employees at its Dubuque, Iowa, corrugated box plant, the Telegraph Herald reports. The company cites market conditions as the reason for the layoffs. The plant now employs around 90 people. A series of smaller work force reductions have occurred there in recent months.
