Industry Veteran to Speak at Solarsoft Summit
October 11, 2008 Official Board MarketsDirk Pastoor, a software industry veteran, will deliver the keynote speech for Vancouver, British Columbia-based Solarsoft Packaging Systems’ Summit 2008 Customer Conference on Oct. 23. The conference will be held at the MGM Grand hotel in Las Vegas, Oct. 22–24.
The keynote speech, “Sustainability – Certainly for the environment, but how about your business,” is a timely topic as North American businesses struggle with economic uncertainty, and a climate where manufacturing is being moved overseas. In his speech, Pastoor will deliver some insights and solutions to strive and thrive in this challenging climate.
He is a principal of DJP Consulting Group LLC, and has more than 24 years of experience in sales and marketing, and most recently held the positions of sales manager and director of marketing for Kiwiplan. He has visited hundreds of packaging operations worldwide, and is a well-published author of articles and editorials in the industry publications.
