Mark Andy Honored for Export Efforts

Mark Andy Inc., St. Louis, has been honored by Ohio Governor Ted Strickland for its dedication to export-related projects at its plant in Milford, Ohio.

The Governor’s Excellence in Exporting Award is awarded each year to companies and organizations that have increased the number of export-related jobs in Ohio, or heightened awareness of exporting as a vital component of the state's economy.

Mark Andy Inc. was recognized for its extensive research in international markets, establishing a network of distributors and agents worldwide, and its growing volume of international sales.

The Milford plant primarily manufactures Comco-branded printing presses. The company says a quarter of its staff is dedicated to exporting opportunities.
