AICC Offers Sales Training Webcast

The Association of Independent Corrugated Converters (AICC) will conduct another program in its series of 90-minute Audio/Web on Tuesday, July 24, at 1:30 p.m. (Eastern Time) titled, “Listen: Do You Want to Know a Secret?” The program will discuss responsible selling and what it means for both the customer and the salesperson.

The presenter is John Bacot, a regional sales manager for Hycorr Machinery Corp., Kalamazoo, Mich. Previously, Bacot was employed by the Ward Machinery Co. as director of information technology and as a regional sales manager working exclusively with independent corrugating companies. He has worked and consulted with clients in many industries, including manufacturing, distribution, construction, and service organizations. He is also an adjunct professor of marketing in the MBA and MSM programs with the Johns Hopkins Graduate School of Professional Studies in Marketing and Education.

The program is slated to include:

•The art of listening, and how to master it.
•How to get through to the nonresponsive listener.
•The value of “the dumb question.”
•Verbal versus nonverbal communication skills.

Registration is by location, regardless of the number of people that will participate in the conference at each location.
